Our product is the new model of A612, a street sweeping machine that has been built since several years with experience and solutions to satisfy every customer request — so far mainly coming from municipalities, for the cleaning of public streets and areas, and from the milling and airports sectors.
The sweeper is suitable to operate on roads and yards, for the removal of solid debris of any kind.
The machine cleans the soil with side brushes hydraulically actuated, having 3 possible working positions and available regulation of speed and of the ground pressure, plus a central roll of 1.3 mt of lenght that is adjustable and floating right and left with anchoring system to absorb shocks; the lateral sweeping unit can be on the right side and / or on the left side of the cabin.
The sweeper consist of a diesel fuel powered truck, complete with chassis mounted equipment such as hopper body, water spray system, debris pick-up assembly, and includes an auxiliary diesel engine, gutter brooms, side blast nozzles, and truck mounted permanent magnet assembly.
It is equipped with a suction nozzle made of special steel and a suction-blower collection system for increased efficacy and operating speed; there is also a pneumatically controlled flap for the collection of bulk material.
The intake system is essentially constituted by a high pressure fan (operating thanks to a hydraulically driven turbine) that allows proper collection and conveying of dust and debris. The system of suction and recirculation of the air that we adopt, in particular, has been designed and developed in-house to be able also to recover a significant portion of the intake air, in amounts ranging from 60 to 80%: the air does not flows back completely in the atmosphere, once restrained the dust, but is directed to the collection point and sucked in again, allowing to clean better and to minimize the lateral dispersion of the powder during the work phase.
We introduced some technical improvements on the A612 since its previous release, like:
electronic control of the speed of operation of the engine: the adjustment of the acceleration before was of electro-pneumatic type while the current system is electronic and includes three possible rotation speeds, programmable and selectable from a display integrated in the control panel in the cabin;
the new electronic control system also makes it possible to continuously monitor any abnormalities during operation of the engine, interpreting and showing on the display any error code, and monitoring the main engine parameters (water temperature, oil pressure, hour meter);
downsizing of the auxiliary engine (installed power lower than before, without losing in operation) with benefits in terms of specific fuel consumption;
hydraulic drive of the turbine unit, using a closed circuit at medium pressure (up to 350 bar), while before it was a mechanical functioning through a belt drive.
